Cheesecake Deviled Strawberries


 


Ingredients:

1 lb fresh strawberries (large size works best)

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup powdered sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 cup graham cracker crumbs (for topping)

Optional: drizzle of melted chocolate or caramel sauce

Instructions:

Prepare the strawberries:

Wash and dry the strawberries thoroughly. Slice off the green tops so they can stand upright. Cut a deep “X” in the tip of each strawberry, being careful not to cut all the way through. Gently spread the sections open to make room for filling.

Make the cheesecake filling:

In a medium bowl, beat cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract together until smooth and creamy.

Fill the strawberries:

Spoon or pipe the cheesecake mixture into the center of each strawberry until nicely filled.

Top and serve:

Sprinkle crushed graham cracker crumbs over the top for that classic cheesecake crunch. Drizzle with melted chocolate or caramel if desired.

Serve chilled:

Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving for the best texture and flavor.
